EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES

• Electrical renovations of classrooms and laboratory at Mississauga and Downtown Toronto campuses and the Grounds Building at UTM, new construction of about 6,000sq.ft.

• Mechanical and electrical LEED gold design for the new municipal library in Collingwood, a three storey new construction building of almost 40,000sq.ft. which houses library, community centre and municipal offices. Construction cost of this building exceeded $8mil.

• Major electrical renovations at a few catholic schools, including new indoor / outdoor lighting, PA and FA systems as well as power distribution upgrades.

• Regular supplier of mechanical and electrical engineering services to TDSB: lighting retrofit, new CO2 detection systems, boiler replacements (pictures below), general system upgrades.

INSTITUTIONAL FACILITIES

• Hilton and Delta downtown Toronto, DoubleTree International Plaza Hotel Toronto Airport, Holiday Inn Trenton and � more recently � Comfort Inn in Ottawa. All projects include renovations of electrical and mechanical systems related to areas such as main lobby, convention centre, guest rooms, and fitness centre.

• The new service installed at Trenton (transformer shown in picture below) rated 300kVA.

• Installed motion detectors and programmable thermostats in hotel rooms

• Mechanical and electrical design for a new child care facility for FORD head office employees in Oakville.

• Electrical renovation of an old � heritage classified � building into an office space to house provincial government institutions.

• Electrical design and construction monitoring for these major retrofits at Toronto Hydro head office at 14 Carlton St. in Toronto and for various Federal Government buildings through SNC-Lavalin. All projects involve the installation of new addressable systems.

• Renovation projects for IBM, including lighting retrofits, IT lab conversions, and office space renovation and computer room reconfigurations.

• Mechanical and electrical renovation of two detention centers in Texas, USA.

• Electrical design of a 390 units townhouse complex in Etobicoke.

• Design of all electrical and mechanical systems for a 56 units townhouse complex in North York.

• �Electrical design of two new high-rise (12 storey, 190 units, 3 U/G parking levels and retail on main floor) condominium projects in downtown Toronto and Scarborough.

• M&E design of a 12,000sq.ft. high end single family residence in Mississauga.

• Design for two high-end retirement residences in Alberta and Saskatchewan, both buildings having 5 or 6 storeys and 200-250 units.

GOVERNMENT PROJECTS

• Lighting retrofit in a major federal government building -electrical engineering assistance with feasibility study, including energy analysis, detail electrical design, preparation of Tendering documents, co-ordination with equipment manufacturers. commissioning assistance

• Metro Toronto Housing Authority -building renovation work for indoor/outdoor lighting systems and fire alarm systems.

• Fire Station retrofits in Toronto - electrical and mechanical design to retrofit few fire stations in Toronto area.

• City of Toronto, various renovation projects - Mechanical / Electrical engineering services in many office type renovation projects at many locations throughout the city; each project average construction cost was under $1mil.

• Public works office in Bellville - full replacement of the Fire Alarm system using the latest addressable type.

COMMERCIAL FACILITIES

• Car dealership in Scarborough -major electrical renovations for two Chrysler car dealerships in Scarborough. The scope of work included indoor / outdoor lighting systems, CO monitoring system,power distribution system, including the upgrade of the main incoming service, voice / data communications systems and power supply to all mechanical systems.

• Commercial plaza in North York, SE corner of Leslie &York Mills -worked with an architectural office in preparing the new building electrical and mechanical engineering design.

• Mount Dennis Community Center, Etobicoke -electrical and mechanical design and monitored the construction of a community center in Etobicoke.

• New restaurant - mechanical and electrical engineering services for a new restaurant in an existing office building.

• New commercial building in St. Catharines -mechanical and electrical design for a new commercial development in St. Catharines.

INDUSTRIAL BUILDINGS

• Connaught Laboratories Ltd. - major building renovations for Connaught Laboratories Ltd. including design and construction supervision for new pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.

• New office / Lab building in Mississauga -preparation of mechanical and electrical engineering documentation for a new office / lab building.

• Moloney Electric - control /protection/metering systems for two mobile transformation stations,including manufacturing and shop test assistance.

• Various indstrial projects -mechanical and electrical design for a number of industrial projects involving new construction, tenant work, additions and Fire Alarm retrofits. Here are few addresses of such projects and Clients: 133 Romina Drive, 7701 Woodbine Ave., HWY48/Anderson in Markham, 9000 Keel Street. We are part of the design team for two new industrial projects in Vaughan and Toronto to start this summer of 2013.

POWER GENERATION AND ENERGY RETROFIT PROJECTS

• Tamiskaming Hospital, Nre Lidkrsrd (225kW Cogen Plant) -feasibility study, detail electrical and mechanical design. co-ordination with equipment manufacturers, commissioning assistance;SCADA systems for power remote monitoring and control have been used.

• Sudbury General Hospital (525kW Cogen Plant) - in-depth feasibility study and started the detailed design stage of this cogeneration project.

• Ontario Ministry of Housing (130kW Cogen Plant) -reviewed the design for a cogeneration project as a third party participant. The work included electrical and mechanical design review, as well as integration of the cogen system with the existing electro-mechanical building systems.

• Correctional Services Canada (420kW Cogen Plant) -cogeneration feasibility study for Kingston Penitentiary and for Prison for Women.

• Cornwall Electric (5MW District Heating plant) -consulting engineering services for electrical systems of this new cogeneration building. review of the electrical design package produced by the generator set manufacturer, initial design for system interconnection at 115kVgrid

• Municipal Electric Association -study on small scale load displacement non-utility co-generation.

• Energy analysis for various industrial and commercial facilities -performed energy analysis (energy audits followed by energy saving recommendations reports and implementation assistance) for a number of industrial and commercial facilities.
